The Thoppukaranam Effect!

I still remember those days when my dad used to punish me with 'thoppukaranam' whenever I failed to recite my 4 tables!
A simple illustration of a thoppukaranam. You just hold your ear lobe and not pull it down.

Back then I never knew why my dad asked me to cross my hands to hold my ears and bend my knees to go up and down. My legs would eventually ache and I will always think, "How can I escape this?!?!".On occasional Sunday evenings, he was my teacher and usually our session never closes without a story or 'thoppukaranam'.

Apart from doing it whenever we visit the temple for 3 times,It was during Vinayagar Chaturthi where I along with my family members did about 10 proper thoppukarnam. (Without fooling anyone!)

I noticed that I was slightly panting for a few seconds. It made me ponder that by doing a very small act for not even 15 seconds(I actually did and clocked it before writing this and I'm again panting.Phew!) can make us run out of breadth then this must be a great exercise!

Later I found that this was also known as The Super Brain Yoga.
While doing it, It did make me a little energizing, definitely hyped, it made me feel sharper too.(I ain't bragging, maybe try for yourself and observe how you feel😄😄)

Some random thoughts made me think like this, please excuse me!
So here's the math!
1 day has 24 hrs, so 24*60*60=86,400 seconds.
For doing about a set of 3 thoppukaranam at most it takes 10 seconds(if you do it really slow) and that is just 0.01157% of the entire time you have got for your day! and spending it for a set of thoppukaranam wouldn't be a big deal, isn't it?

I decided to dedicate this 0.01157% of my time for doing some good to my health and I really wish even you practice it. It is indeed a 'small act that has a great impact'.
If you learn more about 'The Thoppukaranam Effect' aka 'The Super Brain Yoga', you will notice that It offers lot of benefits to your body:)
It makes you feel physically and mentally sharp, an amazing exercise to brain and by practicing it daily it boosts your confidence too:)

Don't you think that you should make it a part of your life style?
